About Me
Matt Adegboye
Growing up, my focus was always on education. Thankfully, I was accepted into medical school, where I worked hard, succeeded, and am now practicing as a Hospitalist. Once I became an attending physician, I realized it was finally time to shift my focus toward financial education—something I had never been taught along the way.
Looking back, I wish I had learned more about personal finance earlier, as even small changes could have made a huge impact on my future. Early in my career, I was taken advantage of by insurance salesmen posing as financial advisors, which opened my eyes to how easily young professionals can be misled. Determined to take control of my finances, I dove deep into financial education—reading countless books, watching educational videos, and listening to financial podcasts. Now, I feel confident managing all aspects of my personal finances and, just as importantly, knowing when to seek expert advice for specific financial decisions.
My Why
Empower and Elevate
I help young healthcare professionals—residents, nurses, pharmacists, and other medical professionals—take control of their finances with confidence. Like many in the medical field, I was never taught about personal finance growing up, nor was it covered in my education or training. When I started my own financial journey in 2019, I quickly realized how overwhelming and confusing the financial world can be—especially with so-called 'experts' pushing advice that doesn’t always have our best interests at heart. That’s why I’m passionate about coaching healthcare professionals like you to build wealth, make informed financial decisions, and avoid costly mistakes. My goal is to empower you with the knowledge and confidence to take control of your finances—so you can focus on what you do best: caring for others, without the weight of financial stress.
